Red Cross

The Red Cross site is the location of our D-STAR Repeaters (VHF & UHF), D-STAR Gateway and the 443.550 MHz DMR Repeater.

The rack contains the ICOM D-STAR Repeater modules, controller and TE power amplifiers.  Below the D-STAR equipment is our DMR repeater.  The cabinet on the right houses the D-STAR Gateway and the associated network equipment.

The D-STAR and DMR Antennas are at the top of the tower.

Mercy

The Mercy site is the location of the 147.360 MHz FM repeater, 224.980 MHz FM repeater and the 442.975 Fusion repeater.

The 2 M repeater, power amplifier and duplexer are on the right side of the cabinet.  The 220 repeater, power amplifier, 220 Duplexer, Fusion Repeater, Fusion Duplexer and network equipment are on the left side of the cabinet.

Fusion Antenna is on the left, 220 antenna is center and 2M repeater antenna is on the right.

The Danforth site is the location of the 442.700 FM repeater.

Network

We use cellular modems at the Red Cross and Mercy sites for Internet access.  The Danforth site is connected to the Mercy site via an unlicensed point to point link with over 100 Mbps of bandwidth.

All network equipment is backed up with UPS or battery to ride through generator startup.

Power

Equipment at each site is connected to circuits with backup generators.  The 147.360 and 442.700 repeaters have a backup battery to ride through the generator start up.
