Welcome to the D-STAR Info page.  This page contains information to help you program up your radios to utilize the KØMDG D-STAR repeater systems.  You can program your radio to operate on one repeater, to operate cross band between repeaters and to gateway to another D-STAR system via the internet.

Access: to access the Missouri Digital Group D-STAR system, program your radio as follows:

RX Frequency: 442.575 MHz
Offset: +5 MHz
Callsign: KØMDG B
Mode: DV

RX Frequency: 147.015 MHz
Offset: +0.6 MHz
Callsign: KØMDG C
Mode: DV

Programming Your Radio

You can program your radio to access the MDG D-STAR system two ways.  If your radio supports the DR Mode, you can program the radio using the built in database.  Consult your radio’s manual on how to use the DR Mode.

If you frequently use our D-STAR system, MDG recommends that you program up the memory channels in your radio to allow you to quickly switch from single band to cross band operation.  Program a memory channel for talking, unlinking, echo test and to link to any reflectors and other systems that you intend to use. Use a memory naming convention that helps you keep track of how the channel is programmed. Many of our users have found that without memory names, you can easily get lost!
