The foundation of the Missouri Digital Group is to provide D-STAR, Yaesu Fusion and DMR digital radio repeaters for use by Amateur Radio operators in the St. Louis Metro area. In addition, we provide VHF, 220 and UHF analog repeaters for use by amateurs in the metro area.
These repeaters serve the Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES), the Hospital Amateur Radio Network (HARN) and SKYWARN in the metro area.
Donations Needed
The MDG needs donations to support the seven repeater systems. The cost of Insurance and Internet access is now approaching $2,000 per year. The cost of repairs, upgrades and battery replacement are significant.
